Fergal Coleman is an experienced chemist specialising in inorganic chemistry, extractive separations, and ionic liquids. With extensive experience in both fundamental research and the scale-up of chemical processes, Fergal has made significant contributions across various sectors, including in metals separations, plastic recycling, CO₂ capture and oil and gas.

Fergal holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Inorganic Coordination Chemistry and Catalysis from the University of Galway (2011). His academic background underpins his expertise and innovative approach to chemical research and development.

Currently, Fergal oversees R&D activities and process development for our magnet recycling process, leveraging his broad expertise to drive innovation and efficiency. His work is pivotal in advancing sustainable practices within the industry.
